I had owned a Precision 15 keel model five years ago and have since sold it. I am now heavily considering the 14.2 keel. I live on a lake in Tennessee and the boat will be at a mooring. I'm considering the keel version only because it will most undoubtedly ride better at a mooring plus there will be better stability on the foredeck when I'm messing with the mooring line, hoisting the halyard and walking around the mast. Is this so? Also is there anyone who has sailed the keel version versus the CB? What are some of the performance characteristics of the keel? Slower than the CB? A lot more stability? Won't point as high, etc. Any input would be much appreciated as my mooring looks very lonely out there! Mike
