Hi folks,
I'd like to announce a new fall racing series on Jamaica Bay, in Brooklyn NY hosted by the Sebago Canoe Club. The series is open to Laser, Sunfish, and Force 5. We are fairly new on the dinghy racing scene, but this year we hosted our second annual spring Laser regatta for District 8, and it was well attended. We have a good group, and great wind! Boat storage for the duration of the 6 day series is available to non-members for only $50, and the entry fee for the whole series is $15. All of the sailors will share RC duties, but I (as PRO) will be setting the courses, so its low pressure.
I'd really like to get some Sunfish racing happening, along with the Lasers. Come on down!
