Broken Sunfish pintle pin

i have an older model sunfish and I need to replace the pintle pin as the top of it has snapped off. I have found pins for newer models but I don't think they are compatible. Any suggestions?

Post a picture if you can. If your boat is 1972 our newer then the pins are compatible.

My mid-60s fish was missing the pin when I got it. I use a stainless 1/4 x 20 bolt and a couple of stainless nuts. Not ideal, but it works. I think that there are some here who can send you a new one.
