Bottle port

Has anybody else installed a Bottleport on their Sunfish? I saw a thread on this topic and could not post to it.

The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that it is not available in white. Cost is a little pricey too. However I'm pretty happy with this one. I haven't used it yet, but I know it solves the problem of carrying a drink along in the boat--keeps it handy, one hand access, and out of the way. No more scrambling to catch my water bottle as it tries to float away.

It is also available with a Fat Bag to store keys, a sandwich, or a cell phone, all in the same access port. Be sure to put those items in a zip lock to keep them dry. Fat Bags are not really water proof. I initially did not order the Fat Bag, but I plan to get one.

One caviat: It must be used with a Viking 5" Poly prolylene access port or a Ronstan 5" inspection port [part # PNP97]. I recommend the Viking Port, but be sure to get the right one, some Viking ports will not work. Purchase both at the same time and specify they are to be used together. I bought mine from Intensity Sails. They shipped a black Viking port that did not work with the Bottle Port. They were quick to ship me the correct one. Nice folks. I highly recommend them. I plan to order another Bottle Port from them real soon. I like companies that bend over backwards to make things right. This was my first purchase from them, and it won't be the last.
