I live in northern New England, and I am looking for some suggestions for good places to sail that also have a beach and nearby boat ramp.
My family won't all fit in the Sunfish, so the idea was that they could enjoy the beach and I could pull the boat up and take family members out. I know that a lot of beaches don't allow boats on the actual beach, but I have seen some that allow small boats at the edge of a designated swimming area.
Anything in the northern half of Vermont (north of Route 4), all of NH, and the southern half of Maine (an arc from Bethel to Freeport) would be ideal.
I just got my trailer, and I'm ready to travel!
A big plus would be a nice town to visit during the evening.
