Hi,

I think there was an article about how to remove the batten plastic tip that got stuck on the sail batten pocket, but I can't find it. It used to be on the old DRLASER website, but I think it has been shut down. Any sugestions on how to remove it without taking a few stiches out?

thank you,

alex

Turns out a lot of the Dr Laser site is archived at www.archive.org

I took a quick look and only found this:
Sometimes, the end cap of a battens gets stuck in the batten pocket. To avoid this, you should take off the end caps of the battens and glue them back on with a dab of 5200 or rubber cement. If an end cap does get stuck at the end of a batten pocket, ususally the only remedy is to slit open the stitching from the side of the sail where the pocket cloth sits on top, to extract the end cap, and to restitch the pocket end.
