Welll since you will be in a vehicle...

The view on Devils backbone is superb at this time of year especially on a clear sunny day as both Saturday and Sunday will be....

From 620 go right about a mile to Hamilton Pool road...go left on Hamilton Pool road...drive 7 miles to highway 12, turn left and drive a buncha miles and through Dripping Springs, and Wimberly until you get to 32. Go right on 32 for a few miles (7?) and turn left on 3224 or 4223 or 2344..or something like that. it has numbers like that and is the only available left hand turn with numbers like that...

go about a mile and turn left on 306. Drive a ways on 306 to Jacobs creek Park road...but don't turn there...go another hundred yards and turn left on North Park Road...go a few hundred feet and turn right ( floolw the LCYC signs) and keep looking to your right for a yacht Club entrance.

The beer tent is well down the hill.

Sometime around dark we will load up a few cars or get on a bus and go to the Wurstfest for a while...wursts, beer, lottsa other stupid decadent food

Oh yeah...the great view is on 12 after Wimberly and more so on 32. The drive is well worth it...even if you don't feel like drinking and eating

And if you do drink an ton and need to sleep at the club...bring a tent and sleeping bag. Folks will be passing out in lawn chairs all around teh campfire...you can bring Sharpies for that too...
