Anyone interested in doing a casual group sail out of Long Beach Harbor?

Though I traded in my Hobie cat for a Laser so I wouldn't have beg my friends to come sail (for whatever crazy reason they didn't always jump at the chance), it would be fun to have some people to sail with occasionally. Anyone interested?

Depending on conditions I usually launch at the Cabrillo ramp at the north end of the harbor. Heading out past the breakwater and then up around PV peninsula is fun. Or south. Or whatever.

The Alamitos Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) Laser Fleet,

is hosting races for Lasers and Radials at ABYC this Sunday December 3rd. We want to start racing at 1:00PM in the Harbor, so you have plenty of time to get to ABYC, rig and launch. We ask each racer to contribute $5.00 toward rental of a whaler.



Depending on demand, we'll also show a Laser racing related video upstairs in the club house at 10:00AM. So grab breakfast at the snack bar and join us for a video and racing later.
