All lines needed to attach sail?

I have a used Sunfish from the 70's or 80's. The sail is mounted upside and a few of the clips are broken.

I want to use lines for all of the connections for the sail that are recommended.

What different lines, lengths and knots are used to rig the sail (tie sail to booms, downhaul, outhaul, etc.)? I would love a link that shows all of this but all of the ones that I found were not updated.

for using line instead of sail clips, I just used a square knot.

I like the continuous line that loops through then goes to the next grommet. I just think it looks nice.

I read a post online that suggested there was a sailing performance benefit in rigging in this manner. Anyone know if that's accurate?

You could use the same line for out haul.

We use 1/8 inch Dacron cord for the outhauls, about 2 feet long. Tie the line to the head grommet and clew grommet with a bowline, then gor through the outhaul caps 2-3 times. Finish with several half hitches.

The tack attaches to the interconnecting eyebolts with a metal S hook.
