Alcort Class Approved Sail—Hong Kong?

On my borrowed Sunfish. There's much color in the sail—with some coloring the result of small handling errors—works well, and looks nice and full. ("blouses" about 6 inches over the boom). There's no window.



Is this a "racing" sail?

It could have been a race sail at the time it was made. The North race sail version did not come about until 1989. This sail may have been made just prior to that. For today's standard, it is not a race sail.

What sailcraftri is saying, I think, is that your (borrowed) sail isn't as powerful as the North race sail.

But it looks great!
