Age of my Sunfish clone

Good afternoon, can anybody tell how old is Sunfish is. I just acquired it today. It measures out properly at 13 feet 9 inches buy 4 foot 1 inch. Most of the markings on top of the hull look correct except there appear to be some cleats missing. There are No inspection or access areas on the top of the boat. There is no storage area in the cockpit. There is no making plate our serial number on the bull. Any information would be wonderful to know.

upon thorough cleaning I did fin an engraved number in the back of the cockpit

It's not a sunfish, the cockpit coming is screwed or riveted on a sunfish and the rudder hardware is wrong for starters

Quick search of clones turned up what looks like your boat. Called a "Scorpion".

Thanks, I just found the exact boat in a Scorpion message board. Looks like almost all the parts are interchangeable. The only real difference is the scorpion sail is 10 square feet larger. Still its going to be a fun project.
