4.7 Lower Section Length

'Thinking about picking up a 4.7 lower mast section for my wife and son. Could someone please tell me the length? I'm trying to determine if the section is long enough to ride on the foam spar partners product...as I do with the boom and standard upper and lower sections. Thanks!

UPDATE!

I now see from the 2010 Handbook that 4.7 lower mast section is 1810 Millimeters (or ~71 1/4 inches)

Let me revise my question.

Does anyone have experience transporting this section using the spar partners product?

Thanks!

The 4.7 has a crook built into it. It's not going to line up all neat next to your other spars. Other than that, don't know.

Thanks Merrily.

That was my primary concern. I am hoping to hear from some 4.7 sailors or perhaps even see a photo. I'm curious if the crook perhaps fits nicely if turned down toward the cockpit.

If anyone has other comments, I'd sure appreciate them.

Cheers!

I have a 4.7 lower. Next time I go to my boat, I'll see how the fit is with the crook in the cockpit.

Meanwhile, any other 4.7 sailors?
