Shockwave 2535 is a fast race boat I have been racing for a little over a year. I bought the boat last year for $6500 and put a lot more money into it. I then had professionals rebuilt the whole deck and seal the rear lazzertes as well as open up rear bulkheads like the newer race boats. I then had the bulkheads rebuilt soon after. The winch areas are reinforced as well. There are 0 soft spots on this boat and it is also very light. Currently minimum weight and 80 pounds of corrected weight. This boat comes with 2 spin poles, has all new sheets and halyards within the last year. A recently rebuilt 2 stroke running motor, has 3 sets of sails, I decent club race set I have been using and placed well with, 2nd at noods, 4th Melbourne districts, and many other regattas. This boat needs nothing to race. It comes with a keel cover, rudder cover, an excellent trailer (have towed more than 3000 miles this year and maintained meticulously). The bottom of the boat is very fair and the keel is fair as well. Very minor stress cracks on keel, but recently had a boat builder smooth them all out again and addressed anything that needed it the rest are just cosmetic but now fair (no structural issues). The rudder is also very fair as well. The boat has a genoa Cunningham set up and all the deck hardware is new harken as well. The previous owner paid $5000 for the mast in it in 2012. This boat is my loss and someone else’s gain, the price is not because the boat is a beat up boat with soft core and needs a full keel job, it is ready to race. If you are worried about transport, just know the trailer is very sound and ready to be delivered wherever you are. If interested call me or text Seth at (727)-344-9545 this boat is priced to sell and I dont want to store another j24 for much longer. I will include a jin pole if wanted as well.
