New venue a success! SailNC was the host for the Laser North American Championship, July 29- August 2. Congratulations to Chris Barnard (Standard) on his second North American win and to Scott Rasmussen (Radial) who had back to back wins at the US Nationals and NAs. I was surprised to not see more District 11 and District 12 sailors. Any explanations? Are these events only intended for the super elites or was it the venue/expected conditions or expense or what?
