June 11-12, 2005, Metedeconk River Yacht Club, Brick, NJ


Notice of Race

Rules: The race will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008.

Eligibility: All sailors MUST be members of the US Sunfish Class Association. No exceptions! Please bring your current membership card to registration. If you are not a member, membership forms will be available at the Regatta. Please pay the $35 fee with a separate check payable to USSCA.

Friday, June 10, 2005
1830 hrs - Registration or Check – In
1830 - 2200 hrs Drinks at the Club Bar

Saturday, June 11, 2005
0800-1000 hrs Registration or Check-in
1000 hrs Contestant’s Meeting
1100 hrs Warning Signal first Race, 4 races, Lunch on H20
1800 hrs Free keg of beer, Dinner at Club!

Sunday, June 12, 2005
930 hrs Warning Signal for first race of the day
1400 hrs No race will be started after 1400 hrs
»1400 hrs Lunch, Keg Beer and Awards


Registration: Open Friday night or Saturday morning. Sailing Instructions will be available at the registration desk.

Fees: The regatta fee is $40.00. Regatta fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday, dinner at the Club on Saturday evening, awards and a regatta premium. Additional Dinners: $10.00

Liability: It will be necessary to sign a Disclaimer of Liability form at check-in.

Scoring: Seven races are planned. Three races shall constitute a regatta. Worst race will be excluded if six or more races are sailed. Awards will be presented to the top 5 finishers, and Top Junior. World Qualifier = Top Finisher

Courses: Windward/Leeward, Triangle, Olympic. Note: Courses will be specified in Sailing Instructions

Accommodations/Camping: Camping is NOT permitted on Club property. Please use the contact name listed below for a list of local accommodations.
