1949 Alcort Sailfish Sportabout. The Deluxe model sounds sweet, mahogany deck finished bright, spruce sides, painted bottom. Dacron sail vs cotton and chromed bronze hardware. Also interesting back then was that the sails had battens.

I recently got a bunch of vintage sunfish/sailfish literature too. Gotta say I was hoping that someone on here was the winner of the 1949 sailfish brochure haha
