Has anyone had experience sailing in a fleet with big boats (20-30 ft’s). Coming into the leeward mark they seem to make crazy sideways bow waves that death roll me.
Should I put my centreboard down? Just go really really wide and reach to mark?? Vang all the way off?
Just got a copy of a game called Sail Simulator 5.
You can sail a Laser in it. Not a bad game tho I think the Laser in the game may be
a little 2 easy 2 death roll.
When i'm sailing on a dead run or by the lee in light/medium winds I lift the centre board up to reduce friction (thats the general rule ok)... Then using that same line of logic why wouldn't you lift the rudder as well? You could keep it down a bit so you have some tiller.
Is this me being...
Was just doing the gardening and a bee somehow got into my jeans and stung me on that spot between my family jewels and bum hole. Sitting on the couch with a ice pack down my pants. Think im going to throw up..
Beat that.
Sailing with the Koombana Bay sailing club out of Bunbury Australia. Just moved there with my Laser.
I am sailing with my boat and a ancient one that I found in the dinghy shed. Really want to make a go of starting a Laser class. Is anyone who might be in the area interested, or does anyone...
Looking at taking a job in Bunbury Western Australia. Haven't found much on the net about Laser sailin in that neck of the woods. Does anyone know anything about the place?
Hey, not a complete expert but in terms of things to do to ur laser this for me seems a little like u should. Put a coat of paint on my dolly and over a few months noticed that it has been taking a few dings (and as a result my hull ) Went to the local plumbers and picked up some pipe foam...
