ok so another quick question as well........should i leave the hull plug in or pull it out? my boat is staying in an enclosed porch during the winter, so the temp in there does fluxuate with the temperature too.

I need to change my sail numbers by next sunday and didn't realize i don't have everything i need. so i went out to APS and they were sold out of the blue digital 8's that i need three of to finish my numbers. where else can i order these numbers from???

over the winter i bought a new-to-me radial sail that already has numbers on it. since i am going to race with it, do the numbers on it have to match my boat number?
i don't really have access to a weight room. what are some good weight gaining exercises/techniques without machines? also, what kind of food should i eat to help me gain weight? i don't gain very easily, but i need to b/c i am rather light and have trouble holding the boat down on windy days...
last summer my coaches kept telling us that if you could catch the lifts going downwind, you would gain twice as much distance as you do going upwind. so being a downwind specialist really is an advantage, i would think.
personally i would say to go with one of the upgrades. i did not have a dolly this past summer and, while it was annoying at times, i still managed. the upgrades are really the important parts, seeing as how they are actually the stuff you need to use on the water. hope this helps some.
What about when going downwind? I find it really hard sometimes when its really windy to keep it from heading itself up, and then it usually ends up dumping me or I bend my tiller extension. How do I stop that weatherhelm??
