I've had one outdoors for two years, no problems. there's some wear because until now I've transported weekly with boat inverted and the dolly strapped on top. I have bottom cover only and would buy another.

Regarding brownman54's original post; instead of the radial sail, you can reef by taking a wrap or two around the mast with a standard sail. You might not want to do this with your best racing sail but if you have an old sail it works.
I'm wearing a dry suit over a wet suit, sailing in 30 fahrenheit and up, even when water gets in, the wet suit still stays warm and its reasuring if there is a breach in the dry suit your covered (no pun).
