alot of the old hands have told me to clesn it up with Softscrub and wetsand. I believe
it cause I wetsand my front forks on a motorcycle aluminum that is 400 and 800 grit:)

Your block failing internal seems doubtful at 3 years. I hope you didn't do what I did
a month ago put the line thru the wrong way on block and had rachet on. I fought
and fought it at 15 mph wind until I realized it. I use a 7m Bzzz. line and really made
a difference.
First try filling the mast step up with water, see if it subsides any. Go ahead and check
your drain plug then try a vacum cleaner in reverse and use soapy h2o for leaks.
There are plenty of threads on this and I am sure there are fellow laser sailers out
there who have had this situation...
I went out yesterday in 10 to 15 winds and just put the new blocks on. I am really
stoked I do like the one piece traveller block. It really cranked in smooth and the boom
blocks with the ball bearings made a smooth entry. Going off wind it went out
great didn't have to push it. I am useing...
I had a 73 boat last year that had a new sail and a custom made trailer. I paid to
much and sold it 4 mths later for 700. No upgrades I put new lines cleats and
blocks. I picked up a 90s' boat it sailed so much better I never weighed the old
one should be 130lbs. I would look toward a newer...
