I have a 1990 and am replacing my spreaders, brackets and shrouds. Has anyone done this? If so, how/where did you drill the new bracket holes. I’m finding I can use one of the original bracket holes, but will go a little higher for the other 3 holes. Any experience input would be appreciated.
Here is a shot of the top front of the mast. Does anyone know which connector is used to attach the roller furling? Someone in another forum said it is the tang. If that is the case, what is the what is the eye strap for? Any help would be appreciated.
Does anyone have experience sailing one of these? I like the simplicity, but are they too slow. I'm not into racing, just cruising. Not many videos on YouTube or real owner reviews on the internet.
