I asked the US retailers about the availability of the boats and they said that currently if I would like to order a Sunfish, the earliest I can have one delivered would be around January or February but this is a rough estimation and it can be much later than that...

Small update: Unfortunately, Laser Performance is having issues with the production line in Portugal and therefore don't know if I can get a new Sunfish before the end of this season... It is a pity since I wanted to sail on it already with the end of August / at the beginning of September...

I mean 225-300 lbs is not like super heavy (unless you are a short person). For 185 cm + it is kind an overweight but not a serious one. Sunfish can handle up to 550 lbs, so no worries. Actually your weight can also help you with balancing the boat :). And if you will sail often, it should help...

Do current Sunfishes have some kind of system (pressure, valves, like in Zoom class, current Optimist dinghies and other) which is removing water from the cockpit?

I was wondering, how do you secure the edges of the hull when launching the sunfish into the water? In my case (ahead of Sunfish delivery), in our marina, there is a slope for dinghies which helps with launching. Normally you would go down with the dolly, put your dinghy in the water, join it...

I was trying to get those images from that website before, since Google Images was showing it in the thumbnails of full res 6000x4000px, but when clicking on it I have been transfered to EU version of website with nothing about ISCA 2018 WC and no information about any kind of contact to the...

OK, I have VPN'ed the website - Now I have access to all of the pictures in full-res :). Still, I would like to find the author of those pictures. There is nothing in the EXIF data about it :/.
