Are there any laser sailors around New Bedford/Fairhaven, MA? there is a frostbite series at fairhaven shipyard on sundays from 9:30 to 12:00. We had 8 boats out last weekend and expecting 1 more this weekend.

I sail my laser and crew on a j30 once a week. I like being part of a team so i crew on the j30, but nothing gets me going like fully hiked out on my laser. -kai

yesterday i had my first sail ever in my laser. she was pretty quick considering i was sailing a pico last year. it was a blast even though i went in to the drink a couple of times. haha. Has everyone already started sailing yet? -kai

i would say cardio is a must and core strength (abs,lowerback,lats,ect). i ride for the cardio and the strength in the quads. i think the better cardio you have the more endurance you will have. but thats just my .02 goodluck. -kai
