Everybody that I sail with has a carbon fiber tiller and extension, as do I. But, after breaking yet another and having to fix it, I am beginning to wonder if carbon is really better. Aluminum isn't noticeably heavier, and it bends instead of shattering. Thoughts?

anyone seen the data from this one? About 33 steady at RYC right now, gust to 51...Angel Island about 54 steady, with gust to 73...In the north bay, the rain has been coming down hard all day, do you think it will flood like a few years ago?? This is pretty wild, I hope nobody is out sailing...

Got a friend of mine who wants to sell his laser, I think it's an 02, hull in good shape, bone-dry, spars and sail with one season or less, straight blades, stock lines, stock tiller/extension, dolly, wants to sell for ABSOLUTELY no less than $3500. Good deal or not so much?:confused:

Interesting racing for those who were there on Sunday. About 40 lasers signed up, with over 180 small boats total! I didn't think it was that windy, mostly nasty chop and very low temperatures. I was shocked to find out that during our one race, only three RYC crash boats were on the water...

Help!! when i get close hauled, this ugly wrinkle appears and i can't get rid of it, especially in light winds! what do i do?? it goes from where the two mast sections join and goes diagonally downward towards the clew.

Does anybody know where to get a mount for a video camera on the stern (or anywhere else really) of a laser? I saw one in the Rooster Boat Whisperer Series and I really want want to make videos/watch and critique myself. Anyone, any kind of mount?
