    It looks an awful lot like mine (the blue stripe of mine faded in the sun). The trunk, rudder, and hardware are all similar. For what it is worth, mine is from 1974.

    Just fresh water. Midwest living! It was used pretty heavily from when it was bought to around 20 years ago. So, in great condition with effectively 25 years of use. But there will be a lot of care taken with this boat. My dad is notorious for babying his floating toys.

    My parents just dropped off the Sunfish they bought in 1974 before they had kids. I haven’t been on it on 30 years and it hasn’t been sailed in 20+ years. All original (including sails) and stored indoors since new. Time to get reacquainted with her! I can’t wait to teach my son.
