As far as the rudder goes there are only two styles The top it pre 72. If you have the old style you might have to have to find a rudder on eBay.

I’ve seen pictures of sunfish rigs stored in pvc pipes and I would love to do that but the largest pipe I can get my hands on is a 6 inch and my goose neck measures at 7. Do any of you store your rigs this way?

How do you weigh the boat? Most hanging scales I’ve found don’t go near the weight of a sunfish without getting expensive.

I got this picture off the specs page on the forum. What is the length of the edge that meets the transom and at what angle should it be? I don’t have a way to measure the angle of the hull so I can’t figure it out.

It’s going to take a lot of wet sanding to get though 53 years of oxidation but she has a nice color underneath

Just needs glassed. I’ve heard good things about west systems fiberglass does anyone have experience with it. What would you guys recommend for both fixing the hull and glassing over wood.

I enjoy Star Wars as much as the next person, but I was unaware that They have a crimson dawn. With my name, a red boat and a red head Crimson Dawn just made sense.
