There are many different sites that offer parts for the laser. Although I have not purchased the XD kit, I have order lots of parts from APS with great success.

Haha! I was thinking about that also, while it would be very helpful I do not believe it would be appreciated. I am thinking of possibly looking into modifing the ramp lightly so the gaps between the slots are smaller therefore avoiding the issue.
Does anyone have experience with larger dolly wheels? I have ten inch wheels on a homemade dolly now, but using the Ramps I have to get my dolly up a large step to storage is very difficult with the 10" wheels I'm looking for 12"+. basically as big as will fit. It should be much easier using the...
When I pulled the black plastic bag up which holdes the foam there were some worn through spots also. I think I'll probably go ahead and change them over once it warms up a bit.
Have you had a pair wear through? We talking like two or three years to wear through or like 10 to 15 years to wear. I'm just debating of its worth the $150 ish.
I'm thinking of also replacing my old foam blocks with the bags,I'm sure being so old its probably saturated with water. To remove the old blocks, just simply break / cut it into small enough pieces to pull out of the inspection port?

That's exactly what I was looking for. I have some left over materials from another project, so I'm going to give it a try. I'll let you know how it goes!
Thanks for the help
To re-in force the step, should I do this to only the bottom of the mast tube? So reach through the inspection port and sand down the old fiberglass and then lay more down where the tube meets the bottom of the hull, to make it stronger that way?
Hey there! I saw in one of the older threads that you painted your bottom. I have a late 70's that I am now wet sanding to refinish the bottom. I planned to fill all my deep scratches from the last owner with gel coat then wet sand, compound and polish. I'm also thinking about painting. What...
My late 70's early 80's laser has some small dings from the last owner, I'm thinking stepping the mast went horribly wrong... But this winter I'm going to have some time to put into it. I'm wondering if anyone has some experience with a similar repair and could help me out with some advice...
