Arg, someone stole my daggerboard. Got an old crappy one?

Apparently I got a little too loose with my Laser during quarantine, been leaving it on the beach. This last time I left my rudder and daggerboard in it, which was apparently a big mistake, since my daggerboard walked away. I guess someone thought it made a good serving tray or something...

Replacement rudder part for my Zuma?

Nope, the surfing was afterwards. The surfing was done with half a head stock held on with bungee chords...

Replacement rudder part for my Zuma?

Unfortunately the other half is at the bottom of Tomales Bay somewhere. I managed to find a replacement from someone on the Zuma email list. If anyone else comes down this path and has a Zuma, join that list, great resource: http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/zumasailing/info

Replacement rudder part for my Zuma?

Replacement rudder part for my Zuma?

Not saying I don't still put too much...

    Question about ruddering technique

I'm new to sailing, and have a Laser Zuma. I've never sailed a Laser but I gather its like a larger laser, with a smaller sail. Anyway I've been taking it out in some stronger winds, like 20 knots or so, and I keep getting to a point where I have to put the rudder all the way left or right...

Have house on Tomales Bay, looking for Laser to share...

I have a place right smack dab on the mouth of Tomales Bay, and I'm looking for a Laser (or similar small sailboat) to share with someone. We can keep it right on the beach, you can come and use it anytime with minimal setup. No hauling it to the beach here. And we have a nice firepit for...
