Hi all,
As some of you are aware, my family and I are moving from GBR to NZL later this year. :)
Does anyone have any thoughts on the best company to move two small sailing boats?
Or alternatively, are there any NZL/AUS sailors taking boats back after the 2010 Masters that have extra...
Hi all,
Today one of the clubs near me had a large pursuit race.
Sadly only 2 lasers turned up - must be afraid of the cold, the club thermometer said 6 degrees below zero. The breeze was perfect for the other guy, who weighed somewhere around 75kg, with marginal planing, and lots of broad...
Hi all.
Yesterday we had a laser open at our club. It was blowing up to around 40knots  , and one leg was a close reach.
Most of us were going about the same speed on this leg, but one boat managed to come from about 5th through to first on that leg! And on every other lap, he kicked our...

I...

The Actual GP is on September 3, although the club is hosting an open class regatta on 17 & 18 June, so if you want to test the waters, feel free to come along!:p
But to re-iterate...
Hi all,
Can any of the experts out there tell me the trick to a perfect run to run gybe in 20 knots?
I'd always thought mine were quite good, until recently I saw a photo taken as I was mid-gybe in a big fleet. The pic shows me at about a 20deg angle to other boats, obviously I'm...
I recently bought an old laser (67141) from Ebay. I've spent most of the english winter prepping it for the new season, but here's my big question.....
The mast step has apparently been ripped out or very badly damaged in this boats lifetime, and the whole deck is rather soft. Around the mast...
