I race my capri 14.2 in a small club with other types of boats, sunfish, FJ, etc. They all seem to be able to point higher then me giving them a clear advantage when sailing up wind. Any tips out there to enable me to point higher? Shift my weight, sail adjustment etc. Note, I sail sometimes...

Any thoughts on shifting your weight when single sailing a Capri 14.2? When I race with a crew I am fine, but when I single sail, I find myself shifting around and not doing well in races.

I am taking a family vacation in July to Destin FL. Does anyone know where I could rent or charter a small sailboat? I would like to do some daysailing. I own a Capri 14.2 and a sunfish. I sail and race regularly here in St. Louis. Thanks for any advice, Chris

I would like to purchase a small trolling motor for my 14.2 Capri just to get in and out of the harbor. Any thoughts on on what size, thrust etc? Thanks. Chris
