Hi, I was wondering if anyone rigs there centerboard shockcord from the upgrade plate which holds the cunningham & outhaul blocks??? Anyone have any pictures? Thanks FYC Laser Fleet www.fyc.on.ca

Steve, I had that same problem happen to me during a very windy regatta. When the board is lifted up for going downwind the shockcord becomes alittle slack, and wheeewww there goes the shockcord on the first wave you incounter. My guess is most of the guys are using thinner shockcord or pulling...

U guys should all come out to the pumpkin regatta on sept 31 and october 1 at fanshawe yacht club in London ontario, we usually have 10 -20 lasers depending on turn out but its lots of fun!!!! Info is at the website at www.fyc.on.ca!!!

The 2007 laser hull colors are light blue with grey hull and deck, or red with gray hull and deck. You can see the colors on the vanguard website by clicking laser and then features and there should be a 2007 color chart there!!! Sail Quick!!!

I have just started to use the nexus 103re laser compass I bought! does anyone have any tips how to use it or helpful information. I am totally new to using a compass and I would appreciate all help given! Thanks

What's the best way to rig the centerboard shockcord while racing with a nexus compass, so the bungee doesn't get caught in vang or around compass!?? Anyone have any pictures! Thanks :)
