Does anyone know the length of a laser mainsheet that when two figure eight knots at the end the boom is at 91 or 92 degrees? I lost my mainsheet and dont want to buy the recomended 46 feet, which seems like way to much for me.

Can I "attach" an optional outhaul block to the ouhaul clam cleat by tying a bowline around the block, and then passing the tail end of the bowline through the cleat, and then tie the tail around the boom?
