At 95kg I'm about 12kg (about 26lbs) overweight for the standard laser. I've picked up some tips over the past few years, especially from Tillman's book, about picking up boat speed but I'd appreciate any other tips from anyone in a similar condition who can keep the boat moving.

How does the Fatso carbon tiller extension fit on to the carbon XD tiller? The extension has a joint at the end with two holes that match up to the two screws on the end of the tiller, but the holes don't go all the way through the joint. It looks like it should open out somhow, but I can't see...
