Since this has been a recent topic, I figured I'd to see if anyone has repaired the same kind of damage.
The port side of the coaming must have caught on something for the previous owner. The coaming was pulled from the deck on three of the rivets but the rest of the coaming is on securely...
Hi,
Is email alert still working? I've noticed that I'm not getting alerts anymore. The last alert I received was on 1/22/16. I've checked my settings on the site as well as my email filter and junk mail but everything seems to be correct. Is anyone else having issues?

So I have a leak in the hull where the bailer opening is. The tub and the hull have separated at the opening and I'm trying to figure out the best way to clamp it with epoxy. I was thinking of making two wooden disks with a hole in the center for a nut and bolt making sure to use either wax...
I just got around to cutting up my Viking since I'd stripped it of all its hardware and it was in horrible shape.
What was amazing was that despite using the same molds as the Sunfish, the construction on the inside was completely different. The floatation foam blocks were much smaller...
Okay, so I have an old Viking that I've been pulling parts from for my sunfish (aluminum trim, bow handle, etc...). Everything is stripped from it now and I'm about to cut it up in order to dispose of it in the dump.
The Viking was in awful shape. The previous owner had bolted and epoxied a...
I'm not sure whose sunfish this is but I'm pretty sure this would fall under the category of trailer damage.
If anyone is interested in repairing it, it's for sale on Craigslist. Kent?

I was tightening the nut on my tiller bracket when the screw sheared off. I replaced it with a stainless steel screw and nut but now I'm wondering if this will cause the aluminum for the bracket to corrode. The original screw seems to be aluminum.
Thanks,
Dan
I'm having issues logging into the site when I use IE9. Has anyone else had this problem? I've installed Adobe Flash 10.3.183.5 but when I expand the login and try to enter my username it just hangs. Reverting back to IE8 resolves the problem.
Thanks,

I'm finally going to start on my Sunfish restore. I got this hull from someone who was planning to restore it but it was never finished. There are a number of patches that seems fairly strong but I'd like some advice on how to begin and what steps to take.
Here are some pictures:

Hi,
Does anyone know if the hardware on a Viking clone is transferable to a Sunfish?
I have two hulls, one of which I would like to restore and the other I got free that I wanted to use for parts.
The original hull seems to be in good shape but is missing all its hardware (the previous...
