    Competitive weight for a Radial?

    74kgs is fine, but I recon 72kg would be better. ;) 160lb is 72.5kgs.

    Warming up exercises?

you sure?? Im pretty certain stretching before exercise has been proven to decrease maximum muscular output and is therfore best done after exercise opposed to before. A warm muscle is less likely to be torn/pulled than a cold one, hence warming up is likely to reduce the risk of injury.. A...

    Double hiking strap?

Haha, ill take your word for it. Never used a double hiking strap so dont know! In my opinion the single strap works fine, and if it aint broken dont fix it. On another note, surely Stars dont caspize but broach?? which isnt really a capsize.

    Double hiking strap?

Stars dont capsize. Lasers do. Dont know bout you, but i dont like the idea of getting trapped under the boat unable to get my feet out of the straps.

    Optimum sail angle

Any Sail without a jib in front of it acts like a jib and therefore cant be pulled to the centreline. Boats with jibs that dont go to the top of the mast have loads of twist in the sail above the point where the jib attatches to the mast. This is because the Jib directs the airflow around the sail.

    A proposition

I think u'd be fine doing it in a 200, wayfarers have crossed the north sea before. All u need is a nice summers day, northely westerly force 2-3, and u can carry the kite all the way. Two large laser sailors would be fine, optimum weight for a 200 is 21stone, so if both of u weighed 13 stone, u...

Will crewing help my laser sailing?

Id give it ago, you'll certainly learn loads if he's the kind of helm who always talks about what he's doing, most top guys talk with their crews anyway. On the other hand, the 200 is immensley boring to crew, did the nationals this year and hopefully will never have to crew one again!
