I will not be back up to the boat until Spring. I also took the cleat off when I couldn't get the angle right.

Has anyone had one of these?

Can you send a picture of what the proper angle is? I have a ratchet block with a cleat (I know it is not class legal but I do not race) and was never able to get the angle right so I took the cleat off.

    Max wind for light sailor

I weigh about 160 lbs and have been avoiding windy days because I do not want to be overpowered. I have recently started sailing my Laser again after a long break and it is great. I have been avoiding days with more than about 10 knots, but I am debating whether I am being overly cautious. I...

    Preparation time

I keep my Laser by the water on a dolly. I have it covered, with boom all rigged. It still takes me a good 30 minutes of hard work to get the boat off of the dolly, sail on the mast, mast in the boat, sail attached to the boom, and the other miscellaneous adjustments needed before actually...

Can you print on the material that people use for chafe protection on genoas and mainsails where the sails hit the spreaders and stanchions? I material should not come off the sail and is pretty white.

    Water in mast

Thanks I don't remember this issue from when I used to sail the boat, but obviously it is part of sailing it. It makes sense that water would get down into the mast step.
