rebuilt mast step after failure now mast does not rotate as smoothly as before rebuild. Any thoughts on how that will play out with malfunction?

hard to find, a guy in canada sells a rebuild kit seems to have one but I cannot get a response from him. will probably have to make my own. would prefer premade that takes some of the guess work out of it.

I need to replace the laser mast step receptacle at the bottom of the hull. I am not sure what it is called. Are they available pre made or do I need to make one? Anyone have any plans or knowledge where to purchase one? thanks

where do you put an access port on aft deck to access this . something i read stated do not put in the middle as it is not level there. Is that accurate?

I acquired it this way. can i do this from outside only? what is the direction of glass fore aft or side to side, or both?
