    I got mine today. Its seems identical to the one that came with my 2012 boat . The quality is decent a few small marks on the aluminum arms barely visible...it is 7 ounces heavier than the wood tiller with straps...I think If I were to do it again I would wait for the newest style tiller to come...

    It sounds like an epic trip . If I were considering it I would figure 5.8 mph max average on a reach and that would be 10 hours. I would have a backup plan to stop some where if needed... Also I was thinking in an average sailing day I'll bet I sail at lease 30-45 miles back and forth across...

    Magic erasers can be hard on paint though if you go "crazy" with them... do a test if its painted....if gel coat no worries...

    mr clean magic erasers work wonders or dish washing soap ... I spent hours one time trying to cleans stain from a hunter 14 , Then I tried a magic eraser and was done in 5 minutes

    Yes I have pictures...If you are going to to do this practice is the key. If you have some old rub rail to experiment with...It kind of like welding you have to do it perfect. The key is the right amount of heat without melting the trim. I used map gas in a handheld torch heating for about 30...
