The Praddle is my all time favorite for the Sunfish as it is one handed allowing you to steer with one hand and paddle with thr other. It also fits well in the aft cockpit cubby: Praddle
You can take out all 4 screws from the stainless gudgeon bracket as there is an internal threaded aluminum back-up plate fiberglassed into the inside of the transom. Clean out any debris between the deck and hull joint, fill the gap with thickened epoxy and clamp with lots of spring clamps. Let...
Yes I would be interested in buying these two DePersia screw-in caps. Condition? How much are you asking for both? You can reply directly to me at:
Beldar is correct as usual. These new end caps are a bit oversized. Just take a wood file and file down the plastic a little. Then smear silicon goop (technical term) on the inside of the mast and tap the cap in with a hammer. Then you can use the little stainless pins to hold the cap in...
Here's an odd one. I just purchased an old Minifish project boat. In the cockpit, there is a well molded in where the bailer should have been but there is no bailer and no evidence
that there was ever a hole for one. I thought maybe the previous owner glassed over the hole but she bought the...
Based on the hull features and the sail logo, I am about 99% sure you have a Windflite Sunfish clone. See this Shorty Pen site: Windflite By Alcort ShortyPen Sailboat Guide Whie it is not a Sunfish, it uses stock Sunfish parts.
I do sell used Sunfish spars (mast $65, upper boom, $35, lower boom with blocks $45, gooseneck $38) but they are pick-up only in Cazenovia, NY near Syracuse as shipping is too expensive. You are better off buying as complete boat in most cases.
SLO does make good covers at decent prices. I have owned several of them.
Consider 3M Fiberglass Restorer to remove the oxidized problem you described. It is marine rubbing compound with a good wax included.
It comes in 2 or 3 grades depending on how badly your hull is oxidized. Good stuff...
I have two very nice Sunfish recreational sails for sale, both very colorful. The are cut a little flatter than your race cut Intensity sail and would work fine
in the heavy air you describe. My daughter lives in Denver and I know it can get gusty there. Let me know if you are interested in...
You have a fiberglass Super Sailfish Mark II, and it looks to be in good shape. This model had a 75 sq. ft., sail booms and mast the same size as a modern Sunfish, if you can find a Sunfish rig. it will fit your boat. To bad you are so far away as I sell a mast for $65, upper boom for...
When (what year) did the first synthetic Sunfish with the cut-out hand hold appear and is the foil shape the same as later boards without the cut-out hand hold? Thought you might know.
I have a very nice Sunfish rudder/tiller assembly for sale here on the "For Sale" section of the
the Sunfish Forum. Click here:

This will fit a 1975 Sunfish with the stainless steel "U" shaped fitting bolted on the transom.
