Which wind forecast app(s) do you use?

I use the 'UAV Forecast' app (for drones) and it has a section that shows the expected wind gusts for next 24 hours. You can also go to the web version here: UAV Forecast Web Page

Another weather app I use is called '10 Day Forecast' and, while pretty simple, it does show wind forecast at 3 hour intervals.

Someone recommended the Windy weather app. It looks like you need to subscribe in order to have unlimited weather data.

On my iPhone, I use Ventusky. It has multiple layers you can turn on and off including : wind speed at ground level, wind gusts, precipitation, etc. it is a graphical map with animated arrows showing the wind direction and how it is changing by the hour. As you look ahead into the 10 day forecast, it shows changes every 3 hours. Here is a link to it on the Apple App Store.

I also use the free Weather Underground app which shows graphs for wind, temperature and humidity both daily and hourly for 10 days. If you pay for the subscription, you can create “ideal weather situations “for whatever you want to do: golfing, sailing, biking, etc and have an alert sent to you that those conditions are met.

Here are some Ventusky screen shots

I've been cross checking free Windy & Windfinder. I'll have to check out the others. Eventually I'll settle on 2.

I've got the UAV forecast app loaded, but have forgotten how to show the icon on my home page!

iwindsurf, windy and weather bug are my main go to apps. Noaa website is excellent but the app is not free

What, someone is charging you for the NOAA Weather site? That sucks... I used NOAA all the time back in San Diego, their marine forecasts were usually accurate. Tide chart & NOAA marine forecast, good enough for this hand when it came to coastal sailing & island voyages.
