AlCort Sunfish in kit form

A friend of mine recently acquired an old Alcort (early 70's or late 60's) sunfish in kit form.
It was an unfinished project, and is probably 60% complete. All of the parts are still there. Even the paint still appears good. The varnish has dried up and the sail may have some issues, but the hardware and other parts are still in great condition. We have the ability to complete this project, but wanted to get some feedback on other possible options. Mainly what kind of value would it have as is, completed, or just for parts. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Sunfish have not become collector's items, and fiberglass boats have more value than wood ones. Finished it is probably worth $500. In parts, maybe $200. You could check eBay for completed auctions, and if any have sold in the past few months you can see what the selling price was. Others will weigh in with their opinions on this too. BB

Where is this boat/kit? I'd be interested in buying it, but only if it is still in its unfinished condition. I am near Philly.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I'm still trying to decide what to do with it. The boat is in Greensboro, N.C. The body appears to be completely assembled, except the mahogany plywood top hasn't been attached. I have wooden boat building experience, but just don't have the time to complete it, nor time to sail it.
