That's precisely what I was thinking -- what could it hurt to throw some washers and nylon nuts on there? There is some epoxy on the end of the bolts and they look like they've never had nuts on them -- so I assume it's been this way from new, but better to be safe than sorry I guess!
So I had a really nice post going that got dropped by this message board. I have to say the controls here really leave a lot to be desired especially around image handling. It's 2020 I wonder why it's still so very bad!?! Anyway, is this normal? I've got bare bolts where there should be washers...
Okay -- I did just find this thread on hiking straps. Looks like the intention here is just to have a bungee cord run through to provide some lift/tension to the hiking straps. Can anyone confirm that is in fact the case? Replacing Hiking strap bungee on a Mod 2
