Does anyone have any info/pics/videos on making your own daggerboard dolly - primarily for soft sand transport?

Has anyone out there used Quickedge trim to replace old original trim? If so do you know the mode/size you used....and did you take the old trim off or just put it over the original? Thanks.

Should the old trim be removed before using the Quickedge or does that help with the Quickedge to stay on better?

i just got a newly made rudder (wood section) and need to remove the hardware from my old rudder and install it on the new one. Are there any tricks that I should know about removing the old hardware and also any tricks/tips to install it (i.e. is adhesive needed on the new rudder). Thanks...

My rudder recently got a good crack in it, but it didn't spilt all the way. Is it possible to epoxy it?

Thanks everyone....the real problem is getting the bolt loosened.......its frozen like every other thing that screws on this '73!

the rudder on my (new) '73 is difficult to move up and down. I'm concerned that is won't flip upon coming ashore. It is common to lube the wood where its screwed in replace. If so what do you recommend to use?

Has anyone made a dolly for use at the beach (particularly in soft sand). I'm thinking someone might have made a simple one using the daggerboard hole. Any details/photos would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a '73 with same problem but I'm looking at the various replacement part options. I'd like to put in the black one (# 79457that 's sort of shaped like an oval and has a screw on both sides but the parts site say that it's for 1995s or later. Has anyone used this part on a pre '95 boat...
