Well I sail Laser Fullt ime but in the Breaks Race on a Hot Foot 20, and a Santana 23, recently i had the opportunity to race on a Sun Fast 37 Down in the Heineken Regatta all i can say is wow that is an amazing regatta.
ok well in the puffs you should sheet out as u said and as far as sail controls you can pull on your Cunningham and if after this you still have to depower try pulling on your vang this way when you sheet out you can still keep sail shape.
well is it your tiler that is loose or is it that the tiller just comes out? cuse i have a problem that my tiller is work down so i build it up everytime i go sailing with good old electrical tape..I find this helps and it cut down and eliminates all slop.
ok one quick question that is a great repair job but the boat in the first pictures has a different color strip then the boat sailing in the last picture is this just me???
Did you replace your bailer fitting?. Cause i know Mark Bugiak replaced his and that was where alomst al of his water was coming in the new fitting can be picked up at glemnore boats. Hope this helps..

Well as i said before i dont use gloves i actually swiched by accident one day cause i forgot em on shore at WISC and well ive never put em back on exept for when it gets really cold but ya i dunno what diameter i use its the standard i think for the rooster main sheet.
I found that once i started to sail my laser with no gloves i started to feel the power in the sail better i dunno i may be full of shit but ya.....i was sailing with the rooster main sheet at CORK and i did not find that my hand were sore after also...

i wear the big thick gloves from MEC and they work real good but they are a little bit bulky.I like them though because you get real good grip on the rope with the little green sticky bits.so i like them and so do some other people i sail with. Plus they extend my season that little bit...
