I'm Linus, a 22 old German traveler. I spent my last 5 years working as an mechatronic in the machine building industry with a one month exchange in a Swedish shipyard. In my free time I've worked as an volunteer in a small cologne theater (acting, director assistant, technics and light, building the stage design, repair costumes) I quit my job and have decided to travel around the world. I'd like to make my way around the world using alternative methods such as help exchange programs, where i don't only travel but I also learn skills and different ways to live along the way.
One of the skills I'd most like to learn is sailing. I have friends and family who sail and have described it to me and it sounds like something I would very much enjoy. Eventually I hope to use the skills I learn sailing to find a boat which I can work for to take me over the Atlantic to Latin America.
I am a fast learner and can manage to do any job or problem to solve on a boat. My attributes are a good knowledge about technical work, good for kinds of boat work. I have a basic knowledge of sewing, I can cook, I have a basic diver licence, I am a pretty good climber (one of my favorite sports at home).
