I used to have that problem and I will not go back to using a velcro strap. Get a spray can of non-oil non-silicone dry lube at the hardware store. Spray around the end of the boom. It lets the sleeve move up and down freely.
That wasn't the ISAF plaque because they are silvery and stuck to the right side of the cockpit. That was the regular manufacture's sticker with no value. As you can tell from a photo that another dolt posted on SA.

Absolutely, you need to pin it. No, APS doesn't include it but I learned the hard way the first Wednesday night after replacing mine. Jerked hard to avoid hitting a boat at a rounding and it pulled right off. Lost the extension in the chaos afterwards. Drill all the way through and insert a...
I have used both Kitty Hawk and Trailex trailers. Both come with pivot bow support so you can load it by yourself. You can also double stack your buddies' boat for long road trips. I break down the trolley and put it in the trunk or put on top of the inverted second boat.
OK, so I know squat about UK trailers. Sorry.
But I still recommend the Cockpit Lockbox... err sorry.... Lock Pit to store and transport your stuff. I have one and I won't do without it. https://www.kosailing.com/hardware-1/hull-and-deck/lockpit.html

Despite the instructions, there is no difference between gray and...
Thanks for all the suggestions. I did double check to make sure all the holes line up the new grab rail. I was just ready to perform the sponge method when I realized I picked up the gray rather than the white epoxy. Boo! Try again tomorrow.
Thanks for the link. The hole is about 1/2 inch in diameter so I'm not sure how I can put a backing in there. I have Martine-Tex on hand and having worked with it before, I know I would need some sort of backing for the hole.
I am replacing a broken grab rail. Ordered new plugs with the new rail. The plugs are on back order. The plug for the middle hole ripped out and was lost. I'm OK re-using the old plugs, but I need something to secure the middle hole. Tried using those expanding plastic jackets... either too...
I was told to use hair spray, but I used some machine spay oil on the joint and inside the tiller extension. With the joint pushed into a corner and your hand around the opening, just push hard and steady. Don't forget to drill a hole/screw through the shaft and joint. I learned the hard way...
