I use a small carabiner clip hooked to the becket on the top block of the cunningham rig. Then I tie a loop in the spectra line. That passes through the sail and I clip the carabiner to the loop. When you're done, unclip the carabiner from the loop and you're done. Fast, easy, effective...
They raised the prices at the beginning of the year. Last year, you could get the upgrades for $430 US. ($185 and $245.) This year they cost $505 ($245 and $260.) I know...because I waited too long and the price went up.
The good news...I sailed with them for the first time this weekend...
Gill makes a great dingy boot. You can use it all year long. I've sailed in it in July and October. It's warm when it needs to be and ok to sail in when it's warm.
Try Edgewater Park, just west of downtown. There's a big beach and a large parking lot right next to it. It is right next to Edgewater Yacht Club, so I assume launchings happen there all the time.
