I took out original screws. I drilled the rivet that holds the blue end cap at the mast end and removed the blue end cap. Then I fed a long length of dental floss thru the hole until it came out at the end of the boom and taped a stainless steel bolt to the end of it. I then pulled the...
That might help a little....I noticed I will get really black water if I pour some clean water into the hole...probably from the aluminum residue from the lower mast. It doesn't go down unless I tip the boat over and drain it out...good way to check for mast step leaks.

okay...I'm now looking for the inside diameter of the tubing that runs from the coupling hitch to the rear tires of the trailer. hand I'm guessing that they were roughly 9 ft. long in length? From what I remember, it was 1" OD (outside diameter) galvanized steel...would anyone know the ID...
