Gill Extreme Glove vs Neoprene Winter Glove

I would definitely go along with this. Last weekend here in the UK we had -3 celcius (mast steps frozen and all). I wore Sealskinz marino wool gloves and yellow kitchen marigolds over the top. With the gul code zero drytop over the wrist it makes a watertight seal and my hands have never been so...

    Group buy

There is also a article in the most recent issue of Gybe (arrived yesterday) about fleet offers - have a look. Are there any others in the UK who might want to do a group buy?

    How to seal Dyneema?

If you tape the ends with electrical tape, cut the rope in the middle of the tape to stop ends fraying, then drop 5-10 drops of super glue over the end it dries like it's been melted. When its dry just take the tape off. Hope this helps.

    XD Kicker Top Block

I had a Harken XD kicker with a holt top block, 4mm vectran primary line and the primary kept getting caught between the sheave and the block (jamming the kicker tight). I replaced the primary line with a thicker 6mm Dyneema line and replaced the top block with an old style Holt block as used...

    Weather Helm

Weather helm upwind is mostly caused by a loose outhaul. If the foot of your sail is too deep, the leach will only want you to head up because it's effectively further off the wind (more on a reach) than the front of the sail, so the back edge of the sail is 'oversheeted', hence the tiller...
