Repairing a large hole in the hull.

Hey Pete! All is well over on my side of the state! Actually... I bought another sunfish! I have a fleet of three now! This one was 150, with a sail. Mid seventies AMF boat, in floating condition. I WILL sail this fall! Looks like I have some fiberglass projects for the winter...! Thanks...

Repairing a large hole in the hull.

A tree fell on my sunfish, and pushed it down on the roller on my trailer. It busted through in front of the mast step. How should I go about repairing this? I have a hull a friend gave me that I could possibly cut a section out of, though I prefer not to cut it up. If I did cut out a...

    Wanted, usable Sunfish hull

Looking for a usable hull, that I can use till I fix my hull, as a tree fell on it. Anyone have anything for sale in the SE Michigan area? Mine was an AMF made hull, so I assume I would need similar if I am to use my rudder and such. Unless the hull comes with a rudder and daggerboard...

    Giving away an OLD hull

Its old, and ruff. Very ruff. Alegedley it floats. It has a different rudder mount than my later hull. Its free to a good (or even any) home. It was given to me, and I dont need it. Im keeping the dagger board (Its the "old" style) rudder, and the mast and sail. But if you want to come...

    Mainsheet block issue

    Mainsheet block issue

My 1977 AMF built Sunfish does not have this block, shown below, installed. All it has is a little downward pointing hook in its place. Is this normal for this vintage boat? Im assuming you hook the line under this hook while sailing. Correct? Thanks, Joey

    My free 77 Sunfish

It also came with a trailer! But, its stout. I have a hitch on the Miata, for pulling a small harbor freight trailer with racing wheels and tires. The Miata starts with 2 inches travel on the rear suspension, and mine has been lowered 3/4 of an inch...So thats not alot of travel before I hit...

    My free 77 Sunfish

Funny story. My Grandfather neighboor was moving, so he said I could have the Fish in his garage. So, I take it. Its dirty, but the sail was in OK shape. So I take the sail home to my house to keep it out of the weather in the garage. Then my garage burns down. So, the insurance buys me a...
